Two More Coaches Join Brian Flores’ Lawsuit Against NFL

Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores is receiving some support on his lawsuit against the NFL.

After being let go by the Fins following a pretty successful tenure, Flores was denied another head coaching job in the league — and when an eery Bill Belichick text message went viral, Flores used it for ammo to start an investigation against the New York Giants and NFL.

On Monday, it was reported that two more coaches were joining Brian Flores’ lawsuit against the league.

“Two other coaches are expected to join Brian Flores’ lawsuit against the league,” ESPN’s Brooke Pryor reported. “Two other teams are expected to be implicated, extending all the way up to the ownership level.”

Brian Flores has since been hired by Mike Tomlin and the Steelers to be a defensive assistant.

When speaking on the decision, Tomlin opened up on how he didn’t want Flores to feel like he was on an island by himself amid his battle against the league’s hiring practices.

“I wanted to stay close to Brian when his legal issues started. I just didn’t want him to feel like he was on an island. From a coaching fraternity standpoint, I owed him that. … I was in position to provide that,” Tomlin said, via ESPN.

Tomlin added: “There’s so many ways that he’s going to help us and help me. His contributions are going to be significant.”

While it’s not clear who the other coaches are who added their names to Brian Flores’ lawsuit, one guy who claimed he endured a similarly rough go during his time as an NFL head coach was former Browns HC, Hue Jackson.

Hopefully we’ll see Flores land another head coaching gig sometime in the near future.
