Tom Brady Comments On Bruce Arians’ Surprise Retirement

After two season together, some reports indicated that some distaste existed between Tom Brady and Bucs head coach Bruce Arians.

So of course, when Arians surprisingly announced his retirement on Wednesday night, people were quick to link Brady to the decision.

But with those questions all over the web, Tom Brady took to social media to send a classy message to Bruce Arians.

“Thank you, BA for all that you’ve done for me and our team,” Brady said on his Instagram. “You are an incredible man and coach, and it was a privilege to play for you. You are a true NFL legend and pioneer for all the work you have done to make the league more diverse and inclusive.”

Tom Brady and Bruce Arians shared a lot of success together.

For Brady, it was the opportunity to win his seventh ring without the shadow of Bill Belichick’s prowess, and for Arians, it was the opportunity to have a QB capable of winning him his first ring before he could ride off into the sunset.

Sure, there was probably some animosity between the two competitors towards the end of their time together. But when you have two strong personalities in the same room for so long, that’s bound to happen.

By all accounts, it appears as though the mutual respect that drew Tom Brady to Bruce Arians two years ago still remains.
