Tom Brady Danced Around the Miami Dolphins Rumors Like a True Pro

Tom Brady is a master of avoiding the sack.

The legendary QB called it quits this past offseason. He quickly decided he didn’t feel like retiring, and announced he’ll play another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Head coach Bruce Arians called it quits shortly after, and Tom even addressed the rumors they had a strained relationship.

Apparently the plan was for Tom to play for the Dolphins, and then get a piece of the Ownership pie. Tom Brady about those rumors.

Brady didn’t exactly deny the rumors. He gave a pretty politician like answer.

“I had a lot of conversations with a lot of people as I have for the last three or four years of my career, about different opportunities when I’m done playing football,” Brady said. “I think for me, the most important thing is where I’m at now and what I can do for this team.”

Tom Brady was asked point blank about the reports that he was interested in joining the #Dolphins in some capacity (minority owner, exec, and/or player) before eventually returning to Tampa.

Brady in South Beach would have been something to watch, but ultimately the goal for him was to be an NFL owner after he officially hung it up. Now he’s going to be an announcer instead.

If not for Brian Flores, who knows what Tom’s future would look like.
