NFL Reportedly Looking Into Bruce Arians After He Appeared To Order Mike Evans To Fight Marshon Lattimore

Bruce Arians still calling the shots?

The former Tampa Bay Bucs Head coach left plenty of fans confused this past weekend as they noticed Bruce Arians on the sidelines as the Tampa Bay Bucs took on the New Orleans Saints. During the fourth quarter of the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints, a wild brawl broke out involving Tom Brady, Mike Evans, Leonard Fournette, and Marshon Lattimore. The former Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians appeared to be involved in the altercation, possibly instigating from the sidelines. Video purported to show Arians directing Mike Evans to get on the field and defend his Quarterback.

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the NFL plans to investigate Arians’ involvement in the brawl.

Per source, the NFL is working on addressing all things related to the Bucs-Saints brawl on Sunday, including the involvement of “retired” Tampa Bay coach Bruce Arians from the sideline.

Bruce Arians, who was the head coach of the team before suddenly retiring last season, now serves in an executive role with the Tampa By Bucs. His official title is “senior adviser to the General Manager.”

We’ll have to wait and see if Arians receives any discipline or if he’ll be allowed to remain on the sidelines for future games.
