George Kittle Has Monster Comparison For Trey Lance

It appears as though George Kittle is coming around to the idea of Trey Lance being his quarterback.

Despite building a strong rapport with Jimmy Garoppolo over the past few years, it looks like it’s Lance time in San Francisco, and Kittle doesn’t seem all too bothered by it after spending a full season watching the QB practice.

On Tuesday, George Kittle even had a flattering comparison for Trey Lance: superstar Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

“He reminds me most of Josh Allen,” Kittle said during a recent appearance on the “I am athlete” podcast.

While it”ll undoubtedly hurt the 49ers offense if star receiver Deebo Samuel continues his trade demands, building the connection with George Kittle could be all the difference for Trey Lance.

Under Jimmy Garoppolo, the Niners offense was good enough to reach back-to-back NFC Championship games. But in the end, the team’s brass realized that the ceiling would be much higher with Lance at the helm.

By making the comparison to Josh Allen, it sure sounds like George Kittle is buying in on the Trey Lance hype, as well.
