Telling Footage From Deshaun Watson’s Deposition Leaked

Deshaun Watson is currently a free man after a year-long investigation into sexual assault claims was dismissed by multiple grand juries in Texas.

However, many people are still not so quick to give Watson the benefit of the doubt. And on Monday, some video from Watson’s deposition leaked through the web.

In the clips, the star quarterback was seen telling lawyers about bringing his own towel and driving great lengths in order to receive a massage from a specific therapist.

When asked if he measure their appearance before booking an appointment, Deshaun Watson declined to answer, citing his girlfriend.

“I can’t answer that,” Watson said via Fox-8. “I have a girlfriend, so that wasn’t my intention.”

When asked if he thought it was “a little weird” that he was bringing his own towel to a massage session, Deshaun Watson answered, “it is what it is.”

Deshaun Watson recently signed a long contract extension with the Browns to be on of the highest paid players in franchise history.

During his introductory press conference, he maintained his innocence about all the allegations against him.

“I don’t want to just jump out and make it seem like I’m just doing it to try to clear my name,” Watson said. “I’ve always been a community leader, with education, giving back to schools, all types of charity work around communities, I’m going to work with this organization and my team, it’s a good opportunity to come out and help.

“I know I have to earn that trust back from the community and people outside that’s looking at these allegations that haven’t talked to me before. That’s my goal, to be able to earn that trust.”

For now, Deshaun Watson still faces the possibility of an NFL suspension following the league’s own, separate investigation. But even when/if he’s cleared from that, people will always link him to these allegations.
