It seems like the Los Angeles Rams are signing everyone and their mothers nowadays, which begs the question: will they have enough money to keep star receiver Cooper Kupp around.
According to Spotrac, Kupp has a potential out following this season. And after setting a bunch of records last season, he’s likely looking to make a whole bunch of money in the form of a hefty contract extension.
But when asked if he’s trying to become the highest paid receiver in the NFL, Cooper Kupp didn’t seem all too worried about it.
Cooper Kupp, asked if he wants to be the highest-paid WR in the @NFL:
"I don't think that's the approach that I take."
"There's a place you want to be. There's a place that I think is fair."
"I'm not trying to beat anybody. I'm not trying to compare myself to anyone else."

Rams coach Sean McVay spoke on his desire to keep Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald in LA for the long haul.
“Those are things that are still at the forefront of our thoughts,” McVay said.
Rams head coach Sean McVay said they're still taking things a day at a time with new deals for DL Aaron Donald and WR Cooper Kupp, have had "good dialogue" with both players.
"Those are things that are still at the forefront of our thoughts."

While the Rams made a flurry of moves this offseason, they’re likely going to need to address the Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald situations sooner rather than later.
I’d expect both to get massive contracts come next offseason.
