Colts Speak On Report Of Julio Jones, Matt Ryan Reunion

Are the Colts talking to veteran receiver Julio Jones about a potential reunion with quarterback Matt Ryan?

Earlier in the week, it was reported that the Colts had been kicking the tires on bringing in Jones, who of course enjoyed a lot of success with Ryan in Atlanta.

But today, Colts GM Chris Ballard claimed that he has not spoken with Julio Jones at all this offseason.

“I know there’s reports out there, but those reports are wrong,” Ballard said, via Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star.

As it stands, Julio Jones is still looking for his next home after an up-and-down injury riddled year with the Tennessee Titans.

One would think that Jones could still have a lot of value for a contending team, albeit in a lesser role then when he was dominating defenses with Atlanta.

Colts fans are still clamoring for Julio Jones, but perhaps the dream is all but dead.
