Brathwaite has not played in the NHL since 2003-2004 season with the Columbus Blue Jackets. His last professional game came in 2011-2012 for the Mannheim Eagles of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

The internet got to work and had a fun time hoping they would get the 48 year-old some action!

Not to mention the fact that he was wearing some old Atlanta Thrashers gear!

Some even brought up his old hip-hop icon days!

People also took to Wikipedia quickly to update the ex-NHLer’s bio.
