One Player Has More Bets, More Money Placed on Them To Win NFL MVP Than Any Other

Who is everyone riding hard for this year’s MVP?

The NFL MVP award is handed out annually to the top player of the regular season and is voted on by a panel of 50 sportswriters who are selected by the Associated Press. The award is usually announced the night before the Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers won his fourth MVP last year, but it didn’t translate to post season success.

This season it seems more people are putting their money on one guy more than the rest. As of now one player has the highest percentage of tickets, and the highest Percentage of Money Bet on him with BetMGM Sportsbook. That’s new Denver Broncos Quarterback Russell Wilson, who at this point has around 19% of total bets placed.

Russell Wilson being on a new team is a bit risky, but we all know he’s capable of playing at an extremely high level.

We’ll see how this shakes out come January.
