Bills Linebacker Von Miller Describes How Bills Mafia is Different Than Every Other Team’s Fan Bases

The Bills Mafia is one of the most well known fan bases in all of sports.

Von Miller joined the Pat McAfee Show this week and spoke about his early feelings over his new fan base, the infamous “Bills Mafia.” Von already went on the record to say he appreciated their toilet paper donations during training camp–but the new Buffalo Bills linebacker took it a step further during this latest interview.

“These guys–They live and breathe football,” Miller said.

The Bills Mafia is a metaphor for the super close connection between Buffalo’s football organization, the city, and its nationwide family of fans. It’s one of the only fanbases with a nickname, which tells you all you need to know. They’re also notorious for their tailgate activities before games.

There is no definitive date on when the breaking tables tradition during Bills Mafia tailgate parties began. However some users on Reddit claim it began sometime between 2015 and 2016 when videos of fans jumping on and smashing tables went viral. There’s still no definitive answer.

The Buffalo Bills haven’t been to a Super Bowl game since 1994, but this year they are the most favored team to make it there. Just imagine how crazy the Bills Mafia is going to be if they can reach the big game this season.

On a side note the Bills week 1 game against the Rams is the most bet on of the 1st week of the NFL.
