Stephen A. Smith is known for some wild hot takes, but what he said about Anthony Davis today is even crazy for him.

When talking about the potential impact the big man could provide for the Lakers if he gets back to form next season, Stephen A claimed that AD is better than Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic.

Immediately, Stephen A. Smith was trashed over his Anthony Davis take.

Anthony Davis made the playoffs 2 times in 7 years without Lebron lol. Luka has already surpassed that, and its not like his team is much better, if at all, than any of the teams AD had to carry. And Jokic carried a below average Denver roster to the 6 seed this season.

Sure, at one point of his career, Anthony Davis was a bonafide top five player in the NBA. But as he’s struggled with injuries, lack of consistency, and questions about work ethic, it’s become clear that his best days are behind him.

On the flip side, Jokic and Luka have already proven over the past two years that they’re the future in the NBA.
