Arch Manning Reveals ‘Best College Town’ He’s Been To

The Arch Manning sweepstakes are beginning to heat up.

With the #1 QB prospect in the 2023 class being courted by all the top teams in college football, reports have been swirling every which way. But one thing has remained a constant: Alabama and Georgia are at the top of the list.

Now, Arch Manning is breaking his silence.

During a recent podcast appearance, the heir to the Manning throne revealed that one college town stood out to him during his college visits: Georgia.

“I love coach Kirby (Smart), and he’s a real normal guy, a great coach,” he said, via On3. “Georgia, the takeaway from practice there, is that they have athletes all over the field, especially on the defensive line. They have some studs and it shows; they had 15 players drafted. Athens is probably the best college town I’ve ever been to. The coaches are all good people, they know how to win, know what it takes, and it was cool seeing that.”

With Georgia defeating Alabama in last year’s National Championship, Arch Manning might also see a changing of the guard occurring on the football field too.

Even though the young QB is still keeping his options open before making the life-altering choice, he admitted that he’s starting to get ‘close’ to a decision.

“It’s kind of getting closer,” he said. “I don’t really have a point yet, but I guess it’s kind of narrowing stuff down. I’m looking forward to (making a decision) either before the season or during the season or after the season. If I was ready I’d probably commit right now, but I’m not, so I’m just waiting.”
