Former NFL player T.J. Ward says he was ‘not trying to be insensitive’ to anyone affected by cancer in his since-deleted response to a Tweet describing Washington head coach Ron Rivera’s frustration that many of his players are unvaccinated against COVID-19.

Ron spoke about how players getting vaccinated is very personal to him due to his fight with cancer.
