One of the members of O.J. Simpson’s star-studded lawyer team, who were collectively able to get the infamous “not guilty” verdict passed away on Thursday.
According to family, F. Lee Bailey passed away while he was in hospice.
Shortly after the death was revealed, O.J. Simpson took to his Twitter page to send a message to one of the four men who were able to get him off for the murder charges on Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

In his video, O.J. Simpson calls F. Lee Bailey, “one of the great lawyers of our time.”
While that might be true, Bailey’s career was marred with controversy. In 2001, Bailey was disbarred after he was caught transferring funds to a client from his personal bank account. He was also booked for drunk driving in 1982, but would get off of that charge.
One of the turning points in the O.J. Simpson trial was when F. Lee Bailey cross examined detective Mark Fuhrman, and revealed that Fuhrman had used the N-word in the past.
F. Lee Bailey was married four times, and will be survived by three children.
