Kevin Pillar Looks Like He Just Went 12-Rounds While Speaking To The Media After Getting Drilled In Face With A Fastball

New York mets center fielder had a scary moment on Monday when he was drilled in the face by a fastball from Atlanta Braves reliever Jacob Webb. Pillar took to social media early on Tuesday to assure fans that he was doing just fine.

Before Tuesday’s game, Kevin Pillar spoke with the media, and impressively shared his belief that Webb should continue to trust his stuff despite the mistake on Monday night. While speaking, Pillar was sporting some insane new bumps and bruises on his face.

“I know how tough that can be on someone who feels responsible for someone getting injured… He needs to continue to be confident and believe in himself,” Pillar said of Webb.

Mets pitcher Marcus Stroman said Kevin Pillar is so tough, that he was actually lobbying to be back in the Mets lineup on Tuesday night.

Kevin Pillar should probably let his face heal a bit before stepping back in a batters box. But you just gotta marvel at the dude’s toughness. Truly a gamer.
