On Wednesday, Francis Ngannou’s next fight was announced. And it won’t be Jon Jones.
UFC veteran Derrick Lewis will get his shot at the belt first.
FWIW, White said Derrick Lewis will fight Francis Ngannou next, and it will be in Houston, LIKELY in August. I'll have full details on my story on @YahooSports

While Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou will be a great fight, it’s not quite Jon Jones level. “Bones” took to Twitter to announce that he hired a new fight advisor amid the announcement, and he’s willing to be patient before booking any future fights.

Dana White had nothing but praise for Jon Jones’ new fight promoter, and hopefully we’ll get to see a massive fight with Jon Jones involved sometime in the near future.
