Hue Jackson Joins Brian Flores By Saying He Was Paid To Lose Games When Coaching In NFL

Now Hue Jackson is coming to the defense of Brian Flores.

Flores dropped a bomb on the NFL world when it was announced on Tuesday that he was starting a racism lawsuit against the NFL over their hiring practices.

In part of his lawsuit, Brian Flores stated that he was offered money by Dolphins owner Stephen Ross if he were to lose games for a better draft pick.

Hue Jackson joined Brian Flores by saying that he, too, was offered money when he was the coach of the Cleveland Browns if he were to lose games on purpose.

When a fan made a joke about Browns owner Jimmy Haslam offering to pay Jackson, the former coach responded, “trust me, it was a good number.”

Unfortunately for Hue Jackson, he did a lot more losing during his time with the Browns than Brian Flores did in Miami. Jackson finished his Cleveland run with a 3-36-1 record, and he won just one game during his first two seasons on the job.

Maybe Jackson should’ve kept this information to himself, because if he was actually offered money to lose at a very high clip, he probably would have been paid, right?

Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see what ends up coming from the accusations from Brian Flores, and now Hue Jackson.
