Russell Westbrook has had a pretty eventful week to say the least. Russell Westbrook celebrated his birthday yesterday, but he also took the time to respond to a statement made by Stephen A. Smith about himself and Houston Rockets teammate James Harden, saying it is “completely fabricated.”
The comment comes following trade rumors that Westbrook is ready to move on from the Houston Rockets after one year.

Russell is a very polarizing player. You can’t argue with his incredible basketball skills, but is he a team player, and does he make others around him better?
At this point he needs another change of scenery, and even if SAS made up that story, he and Harden just don’t mesh on the court. Crazy to think that a guy who averages a triple double will struggle to find a new team.
