After a tumultuous tenure, the Browns have made the unsurprising move that they’ll be releasing Odell Beckham Jr. on Friday morning.

This has been the most likely scenario, with Odell Beckham Jr. being “excused” from Browns practice all week after he wasn’t traded by the team prior to the deadline.

Even if OBJ could never make it work in Cleveland, many around the league believe the skilled receiver still has plenty left in the tank. And analysts are starting to gauge the best potential fits around the league.

According to NFL insider Matt Miller, the Chiefs, Packers, 49ers, Saints and Raiders are the teams most likely to make a run at Odell Beckham Jr.

Despite the perception of Odell Beckham Jr. prior to his Cleveland days, he actually seemed like he was on his best behavior over there.

He never really voiced his displeasure with his role in Kevin Stefanski’s offense (or lack thereof) until the very end. And even then, it was his dad who was the most vocal about the Browns not getting him the ball.

Odell Beckham Jr. would still undoubtedly be a shot in the arm for any contender looking for a spark. And it’ll be interesting to see where he winds up.
