Teddy Bridgewater Appears Pissed Off At The Carolina Panthers Amid Deshaun Watson Rumors

Teddy Bridgewater knows more than anyone that the NFL is a business.

Bridgewater has been a fringe starting quarterback in the NFL for the past five years, and he’s taken his lumps along the way. After doing a solid job as the starting quarterback with the Minnesota Vikings, he was eventually passed over when Kirk Cousins became available. Now, it might be happening all over again.

Bridgewater was the starting quarterback for the Panthers last season, but the team appears to want to go in another direction. They reportedly had an offer on the table for Matthew Stafford, and now they’re going all-in for Deshaun Watson. Needless to say, Teddy Bridgewater isn’t pleased.

Bridgewater unfollowed the Panthers on social media.

Sideaction’s Latest:

The Panthers signed Bridgewater to a three-year $63 million deal last season, but must not be too impressed with what he was able to do this year. the Panthers went 5-11 on the season, and Bridgewater’s stats weren’t anything to write home about.

Teddy Bridgewater had just 15 TDs to go along with 11 INTs on the season. It may be possible that Bridgewater just isn’t the guy Matt Rhule is looking for to play in his system. Then again, I think most teams would consider Deshaun Watson a strong upgrade over their current situation.
