Shohei Ohtani FaceTimed the ESPN KidsCast

Shohei Ohtani currently leads the entire league in home runs with 40, he’s tied for fourth in RBIs with 88, and he also has an 8-1 record with a 2.79 ERA through 100 innings over 18 starts on the mound. So yea, he’s doing a lot. On Sunday, Ohtani did another awesome thing as he FaceTimed the ESPN KidsCast from the dugout in the middle of the Angels game.

Ohtani discussed things like his mentality entering the game and the games he plays on his phone.

It’s hard to tell he’s smack dab in the middle of the game, the slugger seems pretty chillaxed.

Ohtani wasn’t the only player who made a call from the dugout as Mike Trout and Cleveland pitcher Triston McKenzie also called in to the broadcast during the night.

It really doesn’t get much cooler than that. Baseball is really starting to get it.
