Luckily for Seattle, Russell Wilson is now preparing to be their starting quarterback in 2021, and the relationship appears to be getting better. At least for now.
Sehawks general manager John Schneider is even claiming that he never engaged with teams who were calling to try to acquire Russ.
βI never actively negotiated with anybody,β he told reporters today.
John Schneider said there were a number of teams that called about Russell Wilson after the "media blitz."
