New Hot Take Ties Michele Tafoya’s Comments About Colin Kaepernick On “The View” To Her NBC Absence

After a few weeks missing from her longtime role as a sideline reporter on Sunday Night Football, fans are beginning to wonder what exactly has happened the Michele Tafoya.

Bill Simmons has a take on the matter. On his podcast, the former ESPN employee revealed that he thinks this all has to do with some comments Tafoya made about Colin Kaepernick during an appearance on “The View”.

“There’s some good conspiracy stuff going on about this,” Simmons said, via The Ringer. “Because she hosted ‘The View’ in the beginning of November. She was in the conservative seat, then a couple weeks later, all of a sudden, just on a bye. Taking a break.

“It would be one thing if the show was on 52 weeks a year, but it’s only on 17 weeks a year. Do you need three weeks off during a 17-week season?”

Check out what Michele Tafoya had to say when a co-host insinuated that Colin Kaepernick lost “everything” when he stood up for people who couldn’t stand up for themselves.

Unfortunately for Bill Simmons and his Colin Kaepernick theorists, NBC has come out with a statement claiming that Michele Tafoya has simply been given time to “rest”. And that she’ll be back in the near future.

The network was also quick to point out that she worked games after “The View” appearance.

Hopefully we see Michele Tafoya on the sidelines soon. But she can leave the Colin Kaepernick takes at home.
