Alex Rodriguez Responds to Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards Not Knowing Who He Is

With former Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez set to take control of the NBA franchise, some players are too young to know who he is. Rookie Anthony Edwards is one of those players, and he’s not familiar with Rodriguez, at all. In fact, Edwards doesn’t even know who Rodriguez is. “I don’t know who that is,” Edwards said when asked about Rodriguez taking over the team. “I know he’s going to be the owner. But I don’t know anything about baseball.”

Following the story going viral, A-Rod shared an Instagram post about the situation and said: “Hi Anthony. I’m Alex!” Edwards shared the post on his Instagram story and said “what’s good my guy” with a laughing emoji.

The No. 1 overall pick is just 19 years old, and A-Rod retired in 2016. If the kid doesn’t like baseball, A-rod woudn’t be on his radar.
