NBA Players Were Shocked to Find out Ahmad Rashad Played in the NFL

On Sunday, running back Dalvin Cook  scored four TD’s. He’s the first Vikings player to do so since Ahmad Rashad.

It had been so long since it had happened for Minnesota that a lot of today’s NBA players were never born.

It last happened on September 2, 1979. In a game that also ended with the Vikings winning 28-22, receiver Ahmad Rashad scored four times against the 49ers.

Some NBA guys were a little confused to hear this stat:

Cook is actually the third Vikings player to do it. On a very snowy Saturday afternoon in Buffalo in December 1975, running back Chuck Foreman scored four touchdowns for the Vikings against the Bills.

Ahmad Rashad post football career is all about the NBA. He hosted Inside Stuff for many years, and he also happens to be very good friends with Michael Jordan.

These NBA guys need to learn their history.
