Manchester United Bosses Are Fed Up With Young Star Mason Greenwood

Manchester United’s future may hinge on the production of their young nucleus, specifically Mason Greenwood. Greenwood has shown all the talent in the world, but cannot seem to get his act together.

Greenwood’s latest lapse has been his “general tardiness” in regards to team events and practices. According to The Times, Greenwood has been warned several times about showing up late by his bosses at Man U.

Mason Greenwood has been no stranger to trouble, either. Greenwood was reportedly sneaking girls into his hotel room in England, breaking COVID-19 protocol. Manchester United’s Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sent Greenwood home at that time.

Now that his tardiness has been in issue, Greenwood has also been asked to sit out. Greenwood sat this past weekend’s game against Newcastle United and was also nowhere to be found during United’s thrilling 2-1 upset win over PSG yesterday afternoon.

Solkjaer gave a flat “no” when asked if Greenwood’s benching had anything to do with his behavior. However, one would think that there could be a correlation.

A recent video surfaced of Greenwood inhaling a nitrous balloon.

Greenwood apologized for his behavior as the video was making its round around the internet.

“As an 18-year-old I am learning all the time, however, this week I have also learned that I will be judged to a higher standard because of my career as a footballer and I must respect that in future,” Greenwood said. “I am determined to repay the faith shown in me by my manager and coaches.”

It doesn’t seem like Mason Greenwood is doing much to regain the trust from the Manchester United brass. Let’s all hope this kid can get his head right, he is one hell of a talent.
