Raiders CB Damon Arnette is under fire after a video has surfaced of him waving around a gun and threatening to kill someone.

Reports indicate that Arnette is facing a lawsuit claiming he was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Nevada back in October of 2020.

Arnette was reportedly driving at least 65 mph to make a meeting at the Raiders facility. The crash occurred when Arnette made a hard turn at high speed, resulting in the crash. Arnette then illegally left the scene of the crash.

According to news reports, Arnette pleaded guilty in Henderson to failure to stop at a crash scene and improper lane change, both misdemeanors, and paid $1,140 in fines.

The woman, identified by the Review-Journal as Yaneth Coromoto Casique, suffered multiple injuries and accumulated more than $92,000 in medical bills.

Arnette is in even more hot water for the current video that went viral of him showing off his gun collection and threatening to kill someone.

All in all, it’s just a bad look for a player on a team that just let go a former first round pick in 2019 because of the DUI which resulted in a fatality. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Raiders release another player prior to their game on Sunday in New York against the Giants.
