Julio Jones Thinks He’s the Best WR in the League

Julio Jones has been one of the most productive receivers in the NFL since he arrived in the league. And last night he and the Falcons were able to hold it down against the Panthers to take a 25-17 win. With the victory, the Falcons improved to 2-6 on the season.

One Falcons player in particular has been excellent, and has played like he always does. Obviously, we’re talking about WR Julio Jones, and here’s a solid example of that crazy kind of play we’re talking about.

Julio Jones now has the second most receiving yards for a player’s first 10 seasons in the NFL.

With 108 receiving yards tonight (and counting), Julio Jones has passed Torry Holt (12,660) for the 2nd-most receiving yards by a player in his first 10 seasons in NFL history

Jerry Rice (13,275) is now the only player ahead of Jones (12,680) on that list
