If you watched the Thanksgiving Day Cowboys game you’re probably still scratching your head. The Cowboys decided to go for a fake punt on fourth down backed up on their own 24 yard line.
It was one of those boneheaded moves that makes you question how NFL coaches get paid as much as they do. If you missed the magical moment, you can check it out for yourself below:

The internet pretty much crushed the Cowboys, mainly McCarthy, for his idiotic play call. And even Jeopardy Champ James Holzhauer had something to say. James wanted to make sure everyone knew he had nothing to do with the fake punt strategy.
Just to be clear, Mike McCarthy and I have never talked fake punt strategy. pic.twitter.com/khLTEOA5u6

Mike McCarthy looks like he’d have trouble answering the simplest questions on Jeopardy. The guy doesn’t even know how to help his team win.

The Internet had some fun:
Single worst job of coaching I have ever seen. I'd be shocked if he's still employed tomorrow. I'd have fired him before the game ended.

Unless he commits a felony tonight he will still be the Cowboys head coach tomorrow
Actually with Jerry’s track record, he will probably still be the coach if he commits a felony tonight

That fake punt wouldn't have made it if it was 4th and inches! pic.twitter.com/vQnwvo1Gjy

As both a Jeopardy and a Cowboys fan, I would love to see this happen.

Jerry Jones needs to get James on the horn. Even Jeopardy James would tell him he must get rid of McCarthy. What a terrible coaching decision by a clearly terrible head coach.
