Fans Are Calling For Nets To Trade Kyrie Irving After Team Loses In His First Game Back From Hiatus

Kyrie Irving is back! Or, maybe for Brooklyn Nets fans it’s more like, “Kyrie Irving is back….”.

After Irving took an unexpected and unannounced leave from the Nets, he returned tonight just in time to face his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. With James Harden, Kevin Durant, and now Kyrie, the Nets should have dominated this game, right? Not so fast.

Thanks the heroics of Cleveland’s rising star Collin Sexton, the Cavs were able to upset Brooklyn’s new “big 3” in double OT. After the game, Nets fans picked their scapegoat–Kyrie Irving.

Fans swarmed social media to get “trade Kyrie” trending.

Sideaction’s Latest:

Ok, most of the reason why “trade Kyrie” is trending is because of people commenting on how stupid other people sound for saying the Nets should trade their point guard. Classic Twitter.

Nevertheless, some people on social media do seem to think it’s legitimately possible that the team could look to move Kyrie Irving. I have bad news for those people – it’s not. The Nets are stuck with Kyrie Irving, and fans should be happy he’s on their team. He might be a pain in the ass, but he is one of the best point guards in the game.

Don’t jump ship after one loss. It’s going to take some time for Kyrie, KD, and Harden to gel together. Trading Kyrie gets nothing accomplished.
