Chicago Bears Are Reportedly Looking To Make Wholesale Changes To Their Organization

Things are just about hitting rock bottom for Matt Nagy and the Chicago Bears. After starting the season 5-1, the Bears have lost six straight games, and now sit at a disappointing 5-7. Fans are starting to call for a complete overhaul of the organization, and they just might get their wish.

According NBC Sports NFL analyst Peter King, big changes could be coming to the Chicago Bears soon. “I would be very surprised if some significant change isn’t made at the top of Chicago bears football operations,” King said.

Here’s the video of Peter King talking about expected change in the Chicago Bears organization.

What a wild turn of events we’ve had in just two years for Matt Nagy and the Chicago Bears. In 2018, it looked like the Chicago Bears had “their guy” in Matt Nagy. He led the team to 12-4 in his first season, and took home the NFC Coach Of The Year honors. The future was looking bright.

Fast forward to now, and Nagy might be looking for a new job in a matter of weeks.

Since 2018, Nagy has not gotten much of anything out of Mitchell Trubisky or his offense. The Bears have relied heavily on their defense to keep them in games, and now, even the defense is losing its prowess. The Bears need an overhaul, and it probably shouldn’t end with Matt Nagy.

The roster needs to be re-evaluated, and the team should bring in fresh minds in their football ops department to shake things up. It looks like that could be a real possibility.
