Charles Barkley Weighs In On Michael Jordan Vs. Tom Brady Debate

While we’ll never reach a consensus on who is the greatest athlete of all-time is, Tom Brady has certainly entered the conversation. After Brady won his seventh championship many want to compare him to the greatest athletes in other sports. Brady has been compared to Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretsky, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, and others.

Even Charles Barkley had to get in on the debate. The outspoken former NBA player went on a Chicago radio station, and revealed that he thinks Brady trumped MJ with his latest achievement.

“It’s hard for me to put anybody above Michael, but Michael was always gonna be the best player four out of seven games,” Barkley said, via Bleacher Report. “But, the difference is every time Tom Brady played a football game, it was a Game 7. I never had thought about it like that. I mean, you think about that. Every football game in the playoffs is a Game 7.”

Look, we can compare players all we want, but none of it makes much sense to me. Tom Brady and Michael Jordan played entirely separate sports in entirely separate eras. I don’t really even know how you could compare the two. One thing is for sure, Tom Brady and Michael Jordan are both great. Let’s just appreciate it.
