ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Adrian Wojnarowski Could Potentially Be Leaving the Network

ESPN might be losing two of its biggest reporting stars.

Caesars Sportsbook might target Schefter after hiring ex-ESPNers Kenny Mayne, Trey Wingo. Sources say NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski is also coveted by gambling giants.

“The competitive landscape is shifting under our feet as we speak,” warned another source. “The legacy networks want to cut or maintain talent salaries. The gambling companies are flush [with money] — and increasingly willing to spend for sports media talent.”

Schefter’s contract is up in 2022, which will give Caesars a window to pursue ESPN’s most famous NFL reporter.

ESPN has been parting ways with some of its big names over the last few years, but it would be hard to imagine them letting Schefter and Woj walk.
