Bill Belichick Gives Instant Classic Injury Update On Patriots QB Mac Jones: ‘What do I look like? A Doctor?’

Bill Belichick saying Bill Belichick things is always entertaining.

The New England Patriots are currently trying to figure out what their plan is moving forward now that Mac Jones is out for possibly one game, maybe more. Mac suffered an ankle injury in Week 3 and there are even some conflicting reports on how to handle his injury. Bill Belichick continues to get asked about Jones’ health status, and you know how he doesn’t like being interrogated by the media.  The legendary head coach has no answers for anyone asking, instead opting for his usual  Belichickian answers. On Wednesday, Belichick provided a hilariously instant classic response to reporters.

During a press conference, Belichick was asked for details regarding Mac Jones’ injury. Instead of offering a real update on the Patriots quarterback, the head coach said:

“What do I look like? A doctor? An orthopedic surgeon? I don’t know. Talk to the medical experts.”

At the very least, Bill Belichick had a tiny smile on his face during the press conference. We know at this point he’s probably just messing with people, knowing that he’s built a reputation for not  wanted to get prodded during a media session.  Although everyone is curious to know what’s going on with Mac Jones, the Patriots head coach is not going to reveal anything.

He’s day to day.
