Aaron Rodgers Reportedly Has His Mind Made Up For 2021 Season

With Training Camp beginning around the NFL this week, Aaron Rodgers watch will be at full force.

The star quarterback of the Packers has been mum on his future with the team all offseason. But reports have indicated that he was so fed up with the team’s front office that he had no intention of ever playing for Green Bay again.

Despite all the noise, it appears that Aaron Rodgers intends to play for the Packers this season, after all.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Rodgers is telling people in his circle that he intends to play for the Packers this year.

“Aaron Rodgers has indicated to people close to him that he does plan to play for GB this season, sources say. That is the expectation. Many factors at play, but with GM Brian Gutekunst saying he is ‘hopeful’ for a positive outcome, there is a glimmer of optimism,” Rapoport reported on Monday afternoon.

Coming off of an MVP last season, the Packers’ brass has held firm all offseason that they intend for Aaron Rodgers to play for them in 2021, despite the clear disconnect.

Packers president Mark Murphy has been dealing with the Rodgers debacle all offseason. And when he was asked once again on Monday, Murphy admitted that the situation has been “challenging.” But he also expects Rodgers to show up to the team.

While it looks like Aaron Rodgers will show up to the Packers, this whole situation doesn’t seem fixable.

The writing is on the wall for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
