2022 Daytona 500: How To Watch The Great American Race And All Speedweek Events

It’s officially the 2022 Daytona 500 race week. And while the main race is set to take place on Sunday afternoon, per usual, there are many other great events going on throughout the week that fans are bound to want to catch.

For starters, let’s take a look at how you can watch the “Great American Race” on Sunday:

How To Watch The 2022 Daytona 500:

Date: Sunday, Feb. 20

Time: 2:30 p.m. ET

This year will be the first time that NASCAR will used the brand new Next Gen Cup Series car, which were also used in the Busch Clash race earlier in the month — which was won by Joey Logano. In last year’s Daytona 500, heavy underdog Michael McDowell took home the checkered flag after a bevy of cautions propelled him into the lead.

This year is bound to provide similar excitement. And the action starts tonight

The 2022 Daytona 500 will take place on the following Sunday, with the NASCAR RaceDay: Daytona 500 pregame show starting at 1 p.m. ET on Fox.
