David Perron Heavily Criticized For Dangerous Plays Involving Nazem Kadri

St. Louis Blues forward David Perron clearly has a vendetta against Avalance’s Nazem Kadri.

Earlier in the series, Kadri injured Blues goalie Jordan Binnington when crashing hard to the net — a play that has taken Binnington out for the duration of the series.

After being berated with racist messages by fans on social media, Nazem Kadri once again got the last laugh on the ice, scoring a hat trick in the Avs’ dominant win.

But during the game, David Perron was clearly targeting Kadri, and almost landed an elbow to the winger’s face following one of his three goals.

The Avalanche were also granted a 5-on-3 power play earlier in the game when David Perron cross checked and threw several punches at Nazem Kadri.

After the game, it was revealed that David Perron was being slapped with a small fine for his actions against Nazem Kadri on Monday night.

Nazem Kadri scored shortly after the David Perron tackle, and shared a simple message to the Blues after the game.

“Lose your cool, and we’ll make you pay,” he said.

Now, Nazem Kadri and the Avalanche will head back home (where he’s bound to receive a hero’s welcome after scoring a hatty following the racist threats), with a chance to close out the series.
