Video of Jeff Gladney and His Girlfriend Hours Before Passing Surfaces

Jeff Gladney and his girlfriend are unfortunately trending today.

The Cardinals cornerback passed away on Memorial Day. The former 2020 first-round pick, who spent the first season of his career in Minnesota, had just signed a two-year deal with the Cardinals in March.

Police in Texas have released very few details about the situation.

The accident took place around 2:30 a.m. on Monday in Texas. Gladney was one of two victims in the crash. The second victim has not been identified, as the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Video from the scene was also revealed.

But the second person in question is purportedly Jeff Gladney’s girlfriend Mercedes Palacio.   She put out some video before they tragically perished in the car crash.

The league also released a statement, offering condolences to friends and family of Gladney.

The team that drafted him wrote:
