Gronk Does Make a Decision If He Decides to Play Again

Gronk isn’t giving it another go just yet.

But if he does decide to play another season, he’s made a decision, he’ll only play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gronk recently confirmed that he’ll play for the Buccaneers, if he actually decides to give it another go. Gronk did note though that he’s not even close to making a decision on if he’ll suit up again.

He’s just not ready to commit yet.

Via Bucs Nation:

Emery: Are you in contract negotiations, or are you not even there yet?

Gronkowski: That will start if I decide that I want to play. There’s no reason to do that while there’s a decision to be made first. It’s all about if I decide to.

Emery: Did Bruce Arians standing down as head coach impact your decision at all?

Gronkowski: No, no, no. If I go back to play football, it’s going to be for the Bucs. I loved playing for Coach Arians.

Emery: Would you play for anyone else?

Gronkowski: Not right now, the Buccaneers situation is just too good if I decide to go back and play. Like I said, I love all my teammates there. They are all great teammates and all selfless players, they are there for the team and what’s best for the team and the whole organization. If I do play football again, it’ll be for the Bucs.

Gronk is one of the best tight ends in history,  if not the best to ever play.  But what really makes him special is his connection with Tom Brady.  We know Tom is in the background making  sure he has all the weapons he needs.

And  there’s no bigger weapon for Tom than Gronk.  I for one expect him to play.
