Deshaun Watson Reportedly Gets To ‘Negotiate’ With The NFL Over His Punishment

Deshaun Watson better hope his negotiating skills are better than his massage decorum.

A new report says Deshaun Watson is negotiating a discipline settlement with the NFL. Watson was sued by 24 women for alleged inappropriate behavior while receiving massages. NFL fans, unaware that a player could negotiate his discipline, are confused and upset by the report. According to Anderson, the NFL, the NFLPA and Deshaun Watson’s advisors are in the midst of trying negotiate a discipline settlement.

I'm told there've been recent attempts by the NFL, the NFLPA & Deshaun Watson's advisors to negotiate a discipline settlement. However talks involving a potential number of games missed "fell apart" not being on the same page. As of now, process moves forward, per league sources.

The NFL is probably looking to avoid any NFL Owners being thrown under the bus during his defense, and the NFL trying to work with Watson on his suspension is a clear cut sign they’re protecting their own interests.
