Report: Another charge May Be Brought Against Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson may not be in the clear, after all.

After being traded to the Browns and given a massive contract, many believed that his legal trouble was behind him. But on Thursday, it was reported that a Texas grand jury may bring a charge of sexual misconduct from one of the massage therapists who claim Watson harassed her.

Tony Buzbee, the Houston lawyer who represented all the manage therapists who accused Deshaun Watson, said he expects a decision to be handed down in the coming days.

This complaint comes from the disturbing accusations involving one of Deshaun Watson’s visits to a massage parlor.

Per The New York Times:

The complainant told police that Watson ejaculated on her in a November 2020 massage appointment. Buzbee said he expects the grand jury to deliberate and issue a decision today or tomorrow for the case. Neither the Browns nor Rusty Hardin, Watson’s lawyer, were immediately available for comment.

Tony Buzbee also made news recently when he revealed that no one from the Browns contacted him or the alleged victims before pulling the trigger on the franchise-altering deal.

In a statement following the trade, the Browns claimed that they underwent a comprehensive process before signing Watson due to the allegations. But in the end, it doesn’t seem like much was done other than giving the star QB the benefit of the doubt.

We’ll see if anything comes from the latest potential lawsuit involving Deshaun Watson.
