Derek Carr’s Agent Seemingly Takes a Shot at Josh McDaniels

Derek Carr still does not have new contract. He is entering the final year of his current contract.

McDaniels said the team has to do what’s best for the Raiders and Carr and has to do what’s best for him.

Later on Monday morning, Carr’s agent. Tim Younger, tweeted about McDaniels comments.

The Raiders have shelled out big money this offseason for Davante Adams, and pass rushers Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones. Of course you can’t pay everyone.

But based off Carr’s agent’s comment, he’d prefer all the talk about contracts to remain private. Both sides have plenty of time to get this figured out.
