Colin Cowherd Calls Out Niners Starting QB Trey Lance For ‘Making It Rain’ At Strip Club

Colin Cowherd isn’t sold on Trey Lance.

A video of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance allegedly spotted at the strip club quickly went viral this week. The leaked video surfaced on social media after his team’s disappointing NFL Week 1 loss to the Chicago Bears. The 22-year-old is now the QB1 for the team following the 49ers deciding the Jimmy G era was over, they did their best to try to trade him but ultimately it didn’t work out. Jimmy G has since signed on to play as his backup this year.

It is worth noting that the video allegedly features Trey Lance making it rain at strippers. There has been zero confirmation, yet Cowherd is speaking on it like it’s a fact. During today’s episode of The Herd, Colin Cowherd addressed the viral video featuring Lance.

“Gagging to the Bears, can’t complete 50 percent of his throws, making it rain at a strip club,” Cowherd said. “It’s not the NBA, man. You got to win home games, especially when you have a Super Bowl roster. It’s not the end of the world, of course, nor was Jimmy Garoppolo being caught with a pornstar having dinner.

“But y’all defended Jimmy G and what happened four days later? The 49ers brass spoke out publicly and said, ‘We expect better from a franchise quarterback.’ Of course, you never do. According to the story, Twitter supported Trey Lance. Of course they do. Twitter is not real life.”

Cowherd is free to say anything he wants, but he does have some responsibility to not report on something that isn’t factual. It might just be Trey Lance in the video, no one knows for sure at this point.

Colin needs to at least let his audience know that whether or not it’s actually him is still up for debate.
