Aidan Hutchinson Had the Entire Team Singing Billie Jean on Hard Knocks

Hard Knocks came knocking hard last night.

The brand new season of Hard Knocks got off to an interesting start last night thanks to Detroit Lions rookie defensive lineman Aiden Hutchinson. Rookies singing during training camp is a tradition on Hard Knocks and throughout NFL Training camps, but the Michigan standout took things to another level with his very impressive rendition of the Michael Jackson 1980s classic, “Billie Jean.”

It almost took an entire 40 seconds for the performance to build up because most people don’t know a lot of the verses in “Billie Jean,” and Hutchinson came to sing his heart out. Once that chorus hit, the whole room exploded.

People always told me be careful of what you do
And don’t go around breaking young girls’ hearts
And mother always told me be careful of who you love
And be careful of what you do ’cause the lie becomes the truth

While Hutchinson is getting a lot of attention for his production of “Bille Jean,” the Lions star rookie also shared  the hilarious scene that preceded the singing and dancing. When Hutchinson took to the “stage,” he was asked what his signing bonus was with the Lions. And this is how his teammates reacted when they heard  the $23 million number.

Life as an NFL rookie isn’t all that bad.
