Jason Williams Thinks Michael Jordan Wouldn’t be as Dominant in Today’s NBA

Say what Jason Williams?

We all know the NBA has changed a lot since Michael Jordan retired. And for whatever reason people want to continue to try to smite the GOAT when it comes to how he’d fare in today’s modern NBA.

In a recent interview with ‘BroBible‘, former Miami Heat star, Jason Williams stated that MJ and Shaq would not be as dominant in today’s NBA and explained his reasons for the same.

“I think it will be a little harder for him (Michael Jordan) now because the defenses have changed. Now he’s going to have 3 guys on the same side of the floor when he has the ball. Whereas, back in the day he just had 1 guy,” said Williams on MJ.

“Shaq wouldn’t be as dominant as he was back then today. Just because there’d be 4-5 guys around him that didn’t even have the ball. So it’d be tough,” stated Williams on Shaq.

Clearly Williams believes that both players would not be able to play as they had done before in today’s NBA.

Which is pretty ridiculous considering how much more physical the NBA used to be.

I’m pretty sure MJ would be even greater than he was in today’s NBA. But hey, this is what sports debate is all about.
