New Video Shows What Guardians’ Myles Straw Said To Yankees Fans During Confrontation

Many Guardians players got into it with unruly Yankees fans over the weekend. But no one was more ticked off than outfielder Myles Straw.

After fans were seemingly cheering for an injury, Straw climbed the outfield wall to confront them.

Now, a new video is revealing what Myles Straw told the Yankees’ “bleacher creatures”. In the clip, Straw can be seen calling on the fans to hit him.

After the game, Myles Straw spoke on the incident with the fans.

“It’s everybody,” he said of fans throwing beer at him after the game. “It was just a beer parade. You could see them coming from a mile away. We were just trying to avoid the beer cans. Our bullpen was getting hit with them, too. It doesn’t surprise me. I think (reliever Trevor) Stephan got hit by an ice cream cone or something crazy (in the bullpen). It was all kinds of stuff. I’ve never seen this anywhere else.”

He added that the Yankees have the ‘worst fan base in all of sports.’

Clearly, Myles Straw has no love lost for the Yankees’ fan base. But it’s probably best if he doesn’t try to fight drunk bleacher fans in the future. Yankees fans don’t need much motivation to get unruly out there…
