Sydney Sweeney’s First Pitch Went Viral Following Red Sox Blowout Loss

Perhaps actress Sydney Sweeney shouldn’t be welcomed back to Fenway Park to throw out the first pitch any time soon.

On Friday, the popular actress went viral while throwing out the first pitch of the Red Sox game, but what happened after will leave a sour taste in many Boston fans’ mouths for a while.

In one of their worst performances in team history, the Red Sox were absolutely dominated by the Blue Jays early and often — eventually losing the affair by a whopping 28-5 score.

Of course, Sydney Sweeney was not too impressed with the effort from the Red Sox on Friday night, and took to social media shortly after the blowout to share her thoughts.

“They should’ve put me in,” she wrote on Twitter.

The Red Sox will now try to pick themselves up after coming out of the gates in the second half in the worst way possible. But perhaps they lost a fan in Sydney Sweeney already.
