Fantasy Football Insiders Say One Surprising QB Has ‘Higher Ceiling’ Than Aaron Rodgers And Other Star QBs

With fantasy football season right around the corner, many fans are already starting to pick out their potential sleepers ahead of draft day, and perhaps one quarterback should be added to the list.

While Bears quarterback Justin Fields had a rough first season in the NFL, fantasy insiders Dave Kluge and Jeff Bell are expecting a breakout. They’re so confident, that they were even willing to say Fields has a ‘higher ceiling’ than several star QBs in the league, including Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson.

“Justin Fields has a higher ceiling in fantasy football than Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Russell Wilson, Derek Carr, and Kirk Cousins,” they stated.

While commenters on the post were quick to blast the notion, it’s worth mentioning that Justin Fields is expected to run much more than the QBs listed, so perhaps it should be taken into account that he should be among the leaders in QB rushing yards if he were to start all season long.

In his first year in the NFL, Fields threw for just seven touchdowns to go along with 10 interceptions. But he was also able to rush for 420 yards and two touchdowns in just 10 games started.

This season, Justin Fields will be the Bears starter all season long barring injury. And perhaps having a play-caller who isn’t Matt Nagy will prove to make a huge difference in his overall play.

It could be worth a late round draft pick to take a chance on the Bears’ young, skilled QB.
