Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos is finding out the hard way what it means to struggle in the “city of brotherly love”.
During the extra innings loss against the lowly Cubs on Saturday night, Castellanos got boo birds during his final at bat. And after the game, a reporter asked him he “heard” the negative vibes being thrown his way.
Immediately, Nick Castellanos called out the reporter for asking a “stupid” and “rhetorical” question. This led to a somewhat contentious back-and-forth between the two, before a PR guy had to come in to cut off the questions.

Things got a bit contentious in the #Phillies clubhouse tonight during and after Nick Castellanos' media availability and our @6abc cameras were there. Thoughts on this exchange? pic.twitter.com/DcqmbIpz2e

Since the war of words, the reporter who stood up to Nick Castellanos has been identified as Phillies beat reporter Jim Salisbury.
After the incident, he has not commented further on any of his social media accounts, and neither has Castellanos.
In Nick’s defense, it was a somewhat stupid question considering how loud the boos were at Citizens Bank Park. But he could have handled the exchange a little bit better.
Nick Castellanos will hope to improve on his .245 batting average for the remainder of the season.
